Last week we began a discussion regarding On the Job Training (OJT) for Small Businesses or individuals who may not have the resources to dedicate to an online or in-seat class for training, knowledge transfer, and/or certification. What I thought would be a brief list of the best free online resources has evolved into a larger list than originally intended, but each site brings a fresh perspective and varied offerings. I’ve used all of the sites listed below, which is why I can confidently recommend them to you as wonderful resources. Today’s list is for general knowledge, including marketing, management, computer assistance, and business development.

These are a few of my favorite general knowledge sites. There are gobs more, and over the next few weeks, I’ll provide the best resources for specific knowledge and certifications. If they don’t apply to you and/or you’d like to find your own, I’ll add a how-to post to show you how to find your own IT or business resources quickly and easily.
